Yes, Mel Gibson.Currently in Boston filming the feature "Edge of Darkeness" from Monday, Aug. 18 until Thanksgiving, the infamous actor has been spotted carousing with the locals (the pretty Aryan females, of course) at hotspots like Mantra, 23 Bar & Grill and and Irish pubs like J.J. Foley's and Sullivan's in Charlestown.
Any anonymous tips or information leading to the exact location of this "person of interest" or even details giving the lowdown on his look-alike will be kept strictly confidential.

Chelsea warehouse/soundstage on Webster Ave near Home Depot
Rockport, specifically Cape Hedge Beach, will be an upcoming location for "Edge of Darkness" slotted for filming Sept. 25 & 26.
Since leaving Chelsea lot, where are they now? Anyone know when they will be in Lynn? I'm hoping to be chosen as an extra. Was at the casting call.
They recently shot the crime scenes in Roslindale on Bradfield Street with WBZ-TV local reporter Kathy Curran making a cameo. Also, there are rumors that the crew is shooting at the old Malden Hospital in Malden, Mass. and Rockport will be filmed in late September.
No word yet on Lynn.
"Edge of Darkness" director Martin Campbell's movie crew took over WGBH's Studio B recently, filming a Boston police press conference and an interview for a fictitious talk show called "Inside Washington."
They're filming around Boston Medical Center: Harrison Ave and Albany St between Brookline St and Mass Ave.

Been spotting him all week around 670 Albany where the mock Boston Police Dept was set up for the film. He looks incredible - tanned and fit. Today he stopped to speak to us from the rented blue Cadillac Escalade while on lunch break. I got a great picture of him!! Exciting times in the South End!!

From Sept. 15-Sept. 18 "Edge of Darkness" is filming in Merrimac and West Newbury, MA.
I heard that he was leaving West Newbury Tomorrow and will be back around the 26th to finish filming here.
Movie crews are in Merrimac — right over the Haverhill line — for several days. However, Mel's stunt double is in the scene and not the Aussie himself.

There have been rumors that in the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 19 at The Cafe at Taj Mahal's, Mel was dining with a high-ranking member of a Boston-area synagogue.
The "Edge of Darkness" wrap party was held last night at Sanctuary. From what I hear, Mel Gibson was a no show.
