I had a higher power moment today when I passed by the "Casting Bread Upon the Waters" angel in Boston's Public Garden.The last time I remember seeing this Daniel Chester French statue I was walking to my job at WHDH at 3 a.m. because I didn't have enough money for cab fare. That was exactly one year ago. It's amazing how much has changed since those dark days at Channel 7.
The engraving reads: "Cast your bread on the water; for you shall find it after many days" (Ecclesiastes 11:1).
