Boston Casting is on the hunt for more TV thugs

Want to break into acting? Try thugging it up for an upcoming role in a made-in-Boston TV pilot.

While it's not specified which of the handful of thugs-on-TV pilots the audition is for, odds are good it's for the new TNT pilot "Bunker Hill" starring Donnie Wahlberg which begins filming in December.

Boston Casting is on the hunt for Hispanic men between 18- and 40-years-old for a TV series pilot that will shoot in the Boston area in December here.

First, they're looking for a younger 18-to-20-year old male for a featured role as a teen gang member. They also need Hispanic men between 25-to-40-years old to play prison gang bangers.

Boston Casting is holding auditions from 2-6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21 at their offices in Allston located at 129 Braintree Street.

Speaking of thugs featured in made-in-Boston TV productions, a Loaded Gun source says crews from the Spike-TV pilot "War of '04" were filming scenes in the Neponset neighborhood of Dorchester today. Also, filming continues in East Boston including scenes on Webster Street and around Jeffries Point and Piers Park Sailing Center.
