Move over Mel Gibson. There's a new made-for-film cop heading to town.C.P. Casting is on the hunt for extras for the film "Hatteras Hotel," a new flick slotted to begin production Monday, Nov. 10 in nearby Rockport.
The made-in-Mass. film reportedly stars "Prison Break" actor Wade Williams. The thriller follows a Boston police officer (sound familiar?) who becomes sheriff of a fictional New England town called Salem Harbor. His first case is to investigate the mysterious circumstances of a teen found dead after a night of partying at the "Hatteras Hotel."
According to the Gloucester Daily Times, primary scenes for "Hatteras Hotel" will be shot at the Emerson Inn by the Sea located at 1 Cathedral Ave. Also, the Rockport Police Station is apparently transforming its space to resemble a police station in Boston.
C.P. Casting is looking for background extras to portray hotel guests, staff and tourist as well as fishermen and deckhands.
