Confused by all of the shoot 'em up, made-in-Boston productions filming in town over the next few months? You're not alone.Contrary to the Inside Track's "We Hear" column in today's Boston Herald, the set-in-Boston pilot about an Irish gang war in South Boston isn't the renamed "Bunker Hill" project for TNT starring NKOTB Donnie Wahlberg and Tom Brady's ex Bridget Moynahan.
Instead, "War of '04" is the Spike-TV pilot. Walter Hill, an Emmy-award winner, is slotted to direct the scripted show while Ultimate Fighting Championship Dana White is producing.
The production company for "War of '04" is holding a meeting 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10 at the Patrick Gavin Middle School in South Boston to discuss with the community.
Meanwhile, Wahlberg and Moynahan are slotted to shoot scenes in Boston and Mexico for "Bunker Hill" sometime in December.

UPDATE: The Inside Track team at the Boston Herald removed their reporting error this afternoon from the online version of "We Hear."

I was around for the "War of 04," and it was Cape Verdeans, not Irish.
They did some filming yesterday and today on Sumner St in East Boston. This morning it was right outside my door.
