Scouts searching for '80s wheels for 'The Fighter'

Have vintage wheels? The props crew from Mark Wahlberg's "The Fighter" is searching for old-school '80s cars but they're open to anything pre-1993 for the upcoming made-in-Lowell flick.

Send an e-mail at fightercars@gmail.com with photos of your vintage car. Make sure you include the year, model and color of the the vehicle in the e-mail subject line.

"The Fighter," which is scheduled to film in Lowell beginning in July, tells the story of Boston fighter "Irish" Micky Ward (Wahlberg) and how he was helped to the world lightweight championship by half-brother Dickie Eklund, played by Christian Bale.

Also, on Monday, June 8, Boston Casting is on the hunt for Cambodian men and women ages 20-40 who speak fluent Khmer. The open call is slotted between 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Boston Casting's main office located at 129 Braintree St. in Allston.
