Adam Sandler's "Grown Ups," currently filming at Chebacco Lake and Centennial Grove located 30 Martin St. in Essex, has reportedly signed on "Saturday Night Live" alum Tim Meadows as a last-minute addition to the movie's growing party list.Meadows joins the ultimate made-in-Massachusetts buddy flick and a rogue's gallery of former "SNL" players including Maya Rudolph, Rob Schneider, David Spade, Chris Rock, Norm Macdonald, Tim Herlihy and Colin Quinn.
As previously noted in Loaded Gun, "Grown Ups" is being poised as next summer's first blockbuster comedic flick--with the film's release date moved from March 12 to the more promising Friday, June 25 for its theatrical debut.
"Grown Ups," set in Connecticut during a Fourth of July weekend, is a comedy about five high school friends who reunite with their families during the summer at a lake house after 30 years apart.
