Crews with Adam Sandler's made-in-Boston flick "Zookeeper" filmed a scene on Monday, Sept. 28 with Kevin James and Leslie Bibb riding on a horse on Crane Beach located in Ipswich on the North Shore.Bibb plays Stephanie, the ex who broke the heart of James' character Griffin, in "Zookeeper."
"Zookeeper" follows James as a zoo caretaker who
consults with the animals in an attempt to learn their methods of dating and mating to help him win back the woman of his dreams. Rosario Dawson has been cast as Kate, the smart zoo veterinarian who works alongside Griffin.Last week, crews filmed an elaborate wedding scene at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel located at 50 Park Place and Arlington Street.
James, taking a break from the Franklin Park Zoo set which was home to a majority the filming, was spotted cruising around on a bike with "Fear Factor" host Joe Rogan on Wednesday, Sept. 16 in the Boston Common.
On Thursday, Oct. 1, "Zookeeper" production will move to 20 Taft St., a traditional triple-decker home in North Dorchester.
On Friday, Oct. 2, they're filming behind the Boston Public Library inside the upscale Italian eatery Sorellina located at 1 Huntington Ave.
