--Cameron Diaz, promoting the made-in-Boston flick "The Box" on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon," insists that she's enjoyed the last two months filming the Tom Cruise spy film "Knight & Day" in the Hub.
"He’s a terrific director. You never know what you’re getting into with any director, but he’s been in this business for so long that he really know what he’s doing and he’s a great director. All of us enjoyed working with him so much.”
--Blake Lively, known as Serena van der Woodsen from "Gossip Girl" and filming scenes as tot-toting local in the blue-collar heist flick "The Town," says she's smitten with Ben Affleck's work directing and acting in the made-in-Boston movie.
"About 60 percent of stuff I've lived through or experienced, witnessed and the rest is just creative imagination for a good story."
--Johnny Hickey, the filmmaker behind the shot-in-Charlestown indie flick "Oxy-Morons," says his real-life misadventures dealing with OxyContin addiction inspired the locally shot cautionary tale.
"Boston Casting is seeking men with law enforcement experience, especially SWAT, to work as extras in the feature film Knight & Day (formerly Wichita) on Friday, November 13."
--Scouts with "Knight & Day" are on the hunt for men and women who look good sporting a uniform available for a 30-minute wardrobe fitting on Monday, Nov. 9 and available to shoot scenes all day on Friday, Nov. 13.
