Anna Faris, star of the made-in-Boston "What's Your Number?" romantic comedy, set up shop at 236 Clarendon St. near the city's posh Newbury Street area on Thursday, May 20.
Faris' outfit of choice? A stunning, hot-pink getup that seems like a shoo-in to crash her onscreen sister's bridal bash.
As previously reported in Loaded Gun Boston, crews took over an empty storefront located on Clarendon Street near the Cole Haan store located at 109 Newbury St. Set designers transformed the space into a bridal boutique chock full of fashion-forward wedding gowns.
There are three wedding scenes, ranging from a blue-collar bash to a big-fat Italian wedding to a young/corporate soiree, scheduled for the film and Faris' onscreen sister, and homegrown talent, Ari Graynor is apparently the bride to be.
On Wednesday, May 19, crews filmed a sequence at Winston Flowers located at 11 Florence St. in Chestnut Hill. On Tuesday, May 18, crews with "What's Your Number?" filmed a wedding reception scene at 311 Summer Street in South Boston's Fort Point Channel neighborhood.
The made-in-Massachusetts flick follows Faris' character Delilah who looks back at the past 20 men she's dated in her life and wonders if one of them might be Mr. Right.
Crews will move production to the North End on Monday, May 24. However, primary filming is slotted for Wednesday, May 26 to Thursday, May 27 on Salem, Cooper, Prince, Margin, Parmenter, Cross and Bartlet streets between 10 a.m. and 2 a.m.
